Topic: New Space – space exploration with novel miniaturized sensors.

Space exploration has been an issue that has inspired humanity for many decades. The progressive miniaturization of research instruments, including sensors, gives scientists new research opportunities. It has become possible to build small satellites, spacecraft and moving, walking or flying objects equipped with sensors that deepen our knowledge of space and bring us closer to answering the fundamental question: is there life in space.

During the school, the basic requirements for sensors and electronic systems resulting from their operation in space will be presented, various solutions of miniature sensors for space exploration and the so-called space medicine, and finally, current and planned space missions using these sensors and case studies will be explained and presented.
